About FootyWeb

FootyWeb is a private tipping competition based in Australia that was originally created in 1999 with only a few work colleagues. Over the years, tipster numbers grew and it was migrated to this website in 2012. It was originally an NRL-only competition but in 2015, A-League soccer was added.

It's important to understand that FootyWeb is not a business and I receive no income from this website or the FootyWeb App. I run both tipping competitions for the benefit of members, with all entry fees returned to participants as prizemoney.

Membership options

(1) Community Members

Community Members have no entry fee but still have full use of the tipping site. They do not participate in any special competitions and cannot win prizemoney.

This type of membership is perfect for non-gamblers, kids or anyone who would like to try the tipping comp without an upfront cost.

Community Members will have the option to upgrade their membership within the first three rounds of the competition!

(2) Full Members

Full Members for A-League Tipping pay a $40 entry fee per person (or team) and are eligible to receive prizemoney from the entry fees paid. Prizes are awarded for the Top 5 places as well as several other separate competitions throughout the season.

Full competition rules can be viewed before you register but throughout the season, you will have plenty of opportunity to win your money back (and more!).

Please note that tipsters under 18 should have their parents permission to play.
